The Company
Massachusetts-based Rabican Companies has been providing investment banking and advisory services to privately-held companies throughout North America since 1976. While traditional investment banks provide their services primarily to larger institutional clients, Rabican differentiated itself by making the same bevy and quality of services available to privately-held companies and their owners. With a clientele comprised mostly of individuals, partnerships, and families, Rabican Companies offers uniquely personal service that reflects the unique needs of our clients.
Rabican Companies' reputation has been built by providing its various clients with effective advice and guidance to help them achieve their goals and objectives in creating and realizing business value. Through a balanced and objective approach, in combination with years of multi-industry experience, Rabican assists business owners in dealing with a diverse range of business challenges and opportunities.
Dave Sampson, Founder and President
Dave Sampson, Rabican Companies' founder and president, has been at the helm of the company since its inception in 1976. At the very beginning, Dave quickly recognized the need that small to mid-size business owners had for professional investment banking representation and the shortage of companies that provided such services. Since then, Dave has focused his professional life on meeting that need through a balanced, objective, and personal approach.
Dave has experience within a diverse range of industries, both from his work with Rabican and through the more than twenty-five companies that he has owned throughout his career. This unique blend of ownership and advisory experience has allowed Rabican to effectively service its clients with a true appreciation of and respect for the dynamics of private ownership.
